Windows 10 Release day
On the 29th July the next version of Windows - Version 10 is being release for free for some users of Windows 7 & Windows 8.
We expect to see a number of issues with network speeds as the 3gb download per pc will overload most UK broadband providers and your internet connection. As well as the unexpected or expected issues with installation of the new Windows Operating System, our advice is to ensure you have enough space on your pcs (min 4gb) and do not install the software until a few people have tested the new system.
We are looking forward to the return of the Windows start menu and improvements in windows updates as well as the Cortana assistant.
For businesses running a variety of applications we also suggest that installation is structured, so testing of one or two users initially to ensure that your business applications work on the new OS and then plan the downtime for each pc to ensure your users can work.
Should you wish to discuss the upgrades and schedule a time when our staff can assist you, please give us a call.
